I thought the ad was that at first as the vocals are a bit gruff for Stevie Windwood

It's not the from the original CD though is it?, if it's PCO playing then it may be a live recording they did later
Simon Jeffes passed away 10 years ago this week, he was not in his 50's which I consider 'young ' nowadays!

It was Phillip Glass, a track from the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack A very strange choice for an oriental movie, maybe the TV execs. got confused with his Mishima soundtrack as I'm sure they easily confuse Chinese with Japanese !

it is a mish mash of 3 or 4 tunes, the first piece(classical music) is from Mussorgsky - Pictures at an Exhibition, it may be called ''The great gates of Kiev'' but I'm not that well informed on classical music. It's a start at least!
