I thought the ad was that at first as the vocals are a bit gruff for Stevie Windwood

It sounds like Johnny Cash, and those lyrics appear in his song ''Hurt''

It sounds like The Stranglers ''Waltzinblack ''(it is in 3/3 time)
a quick youtube search seems to confirm that it is.

Simon Jeffes passed away 10 years ago this week, he was not in his 50's which I consider 'young ' nowadays!

it is a mish mash of 3 or 4 tunes, the first piece(classical music) is from Mussorgsky - Pictures at an Exhibition, it may be called ''The great gates of Kiev'' but I'm not that well informed on classical music. It's a start at least!
