Audi Q7 advert.

Post by Eskay »

It's the advert where they say "We've been making quattro for our cars for years... now we have made the car for quattro."

The ad has the new 4x4 Q7 driving in the snow and ice. Love the music, no idea who its by.

If anyone knows please let me know! :(

It's actually "Glacier" by E*Vax.

Quite an obscure Electronica track released in the US in 1997 on a limited run of 300 7".

It's more widely available on the "Putting The Morr Back In Morrissey" 2CD compliation on Morr Music.

IT IS NOT Glacier by E*vax, at least it is not with the Audi7 TV commercial in Canada/USA
I wasted a buck downloading Glacier which is just crappy noise - the 30 sec preview iTunes gives you makes it impossible to tell if you have the right song WHICH I DID NOT !!
Anyhow, I'm going to try the first reply and I'll be back with my verdict......

**EDITED**
It is as mentioned above "Streets of Tomorrow" by Carla Vallet

The UK Audi Q7 ad music is definetly Glacier by E*Vax. The US/Canada track is different (and shite).

The song for the audi Q7 quattro ad is definately Glacier by E*Vax: visit http://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/12955 and find the E*vax bit (you need real player)

I can't find E*Vax anywhere in the internet?!

Could someone provide a link that I can download it from?

Note title of this website - "The UK Television Advert Database". For the UK Q7 ad my ID was correct.

I've just listened to the Carla Vallet track clip on iTunes and there's no way you could mistake that for the E*Vax or vice versa. Don't blame me if your ability to differentiate is lacking! ;)

If it bothers you that much, PM me your PayPal address and I'll give you your dollar back.

I'll give him pound sterling, then he might realise this is a UK forum.

I'm in Canada.... and I'm convinced it's simply a mix of the two... it starts off with Glacier and mixes into Streets of Tomorrow
