National Lottery (UK) advert May 2006 - "where would..&

Post by Rich Y »

Just heard this on sky or perhaps BBC for the first time...

Hard to describe the music, but its "modern classical"

The advert involves lots of flying bricks which have left there "terrace home" and have "flown" to some excotic resort.

The slogan being "where would you go"

Thanks!

National Lottery -- Flying Bricks

I have seen the ad that Rich Y is talking about. It is a new ad (National Lottery -- Flying Bricks) and has "Classical" music. I think it sounds like Ralph Vaughan Williams. I have tried to find out more but cannot find the ad to view yet.

A Smile and a Ribbon?

Post by jimbobjimmy82 »

:? :? :? I'm not sure if this is the song you are looking for :? :? :?

The song title is 'A Smile and a Ribbon' by Patience and Prudence sisters...this is the song used in the lottery advert were an animation guy goes around giving people smiles.

It's a song from the GHOST WORLD SOUNDTRACK...which is a great film if you like things which are a little out there like Donnie Darko

Hope that helps?

Hi all,

It's from the first movement of "Celtic Symphony" by Granville Bantock. You can listen to a sample here:

I hope this helps!
