Does anyone know the title and artist of the newest Vodafone advert song?

It's the one where the girl is walking with her friend, then her mother, then finally gets swept up into the sky by a bloke and then falls back to earth?

It's ''Another Girl, Another Planet' by The Only Ones, it's from the late 70's or early 80's and was a Peel favorite, they did a few sessions for his radio show.

and in my opinion, catastrophically badly edited. I could have done a better job with a reel to reel recorder and razor blade.

The Only Ones' three albums, all excellent, were on CBS Records so should be available on CD. Its their best single so will be on any 'best of' and will be on some of the many Punk/New Wave compilations (Now Thats What I Call Punk and suchlike)

to the OP, no problem.
Andykn, I did have to give it a good listen to make sure it was not a cover as it does seem to lack the flow and energy of how I remember it.............though this may be the aging process
