Orchestral from BBC Documentary - MP3 Sample Included!

Post by Ilushikdpg »

Hello all,

I've been driving myself crazy trying to find a piece of music which closed the BBC documentary "ten things you didn't know about earthquakes" - it sounds very like some of Craig Armstrong's work, but I haven't been able to find any clues as to who created it.

I've uploaded a forty second sample of the track to this website in the hopes that one of you might be able to recognise it.

Fingers crossed...thanks for listening!

TJ

P.S. If anyone's interested in watching the program, it's available to stream for a couple more days on the BBC's website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b008s99l .... Happy viewing.

I don't know the exact piece of music, but it sounds like Craig Armstrong or Max Richter - they may be a good place to start.

Sounds alot like something from Ludovico Enaudi's new album "Divenire"...haven't got a copy yet, so couldn't tell for certain, but check it out. :D He's the same guy who did that lovely bit of music ('The Waves' or 'Le Onde') for the John Lewis Autumn advert a while back.

Smilla, you are both a genius and my new hero. It is the very track, 'Divenire', from the eponymous album by Einaudi. Thankyou so much :-)
