Does anybody know what the music used in the Proms 2006 trailer is? It's the one where a man is conducting different blasts of wind.
Thanks for any help

There surely must be someone out there who knows their classical music enough to answer this?
Thanks for any help once again.

Can you find a clip of the commercial?
I'm in the US now so I don't get the BBC Proms live, but I remember the "Flying Dutchman" Overture by Wagner featuring quite prominently in the Proms commercials last year.
Let me know what you find.

I know I 'know' the piece, but it escapes me at the moment, so I've mailed BBC proms and am waiting for a reply....

Got my answer....
Dear Hazel,
Thank you for your email. The music used in the Proms TV trail is Mozart's Symphony No. 41 'Jupiter'.
Best wishes

Thank you
SO much! I've managed to narrow it down to Symphony No. 41 (C Maj): IV. Molto Allegro.
Thanks again mumof3
