Debenhams Sale ad (instrumental guitar riff)
Hi
Always wondere what the music was to the Debenhams sale back in 2004, sort of a heavy bass with searing guitars on top. Thought I would not hear it again but they re-used it just a few weeks ago for their summer 2006 sale
Anyone know what the music is if not specially recorded?

Debenhams Summer sale advert 2006
Yes I have been trying to find out what that piece of music is too, sounds realy good.
Actualy that music is also on the Studio A.K.A site, it was used for the trailer of the Jojo in the stars film.
See site below V

Trailer.
I remember the advert because there was an addition few seconds of the song where the bass came in, and the whining was in fact a viola or violin instrument.
Still it would be nice to know who done the music, if anyone here has any ideas.

Ok well I dont know where the other guy is but I found out what the music was yesterday.
It's a group called Urchin, the song is Texas Yellow.
I would just like to mention that I was not expecting a track name like that for such an eerily starting piece of music.
Hate the name but the tunes are great.

'House of Fraser' ads
I will point out that "Texas Yellow" was used for 'House of Fraser' ads - was the original question about that??

Ok so it was The house of Fraser add and not Debenhams then, there has been some confusion.
Yes the girl with the fit behind and bunny ears dissapearing under the roots of a tree, lots of artificial stars and I think maybe the moon, cant quite remember as it was a while since I last saw the comercial.

Hi
Thanks for the suggestion, That's not the tune, although it is pretty memorable itself! Very spooky! Reminds me of those wierd Eastern European puppet cartoons that were around when I was a kid.
The Debenhams one is more upbeat and rocky, I have tried emailing the store with no success, might try their ad agency for what it's worth.
Cheers
Mark

Grr Bunny
Sorry I sent you a reply to your PM but the mailbox thing won't work for some reason. Thanks for having a guess anyway.
I am thinking more and more it must have been written for the ad. The only times I have ever had a civil reply from companies when enquiring about this sort of thing was Fosters Lager ("Call Me Zane" - Fung Shui guy) and Budweiser ("This Buds For You" which I managed to download the whole tune lyrics and all).
here goes nothin..
